Current Obsession:
Preservation by any means necessary.
What does it mean to preserve memory in a world that applauds change? How do we hold on to our histories? How do we work together to preserve that which is often deemed trivial or niche? Can we bring dead memories back? What are the alternatives to museums, archives, libraries? How do we stand up in the face of erasure? How do we combat oblivion (forced and natural)?

About
I grew up in rural Alabama and have always been obsessed with tactile artifacts and community memory. I work on a number of creative projects throughout the year usually based on my surroundings and the people I meet while exploring. I am currently living in San Francisco, CA.
